Our first official work as a group. The project was a piece for theater based on a book by Sadegh Hedayat called “The Blind Owl” and was directed by Sanaz Bayan which was performed in Fajr Theatre Festival 2010 and was critically acclaimed.

We were involved in this project in many aspects. The set design along with making and performing the visuals were managed by CODON. It included real-time video triggering, live generative drawing (music reactive) and a variety of interactive scenes. For this project we decided to put 2 motion detectors on each side of the stage to cover every activity via blob detection and use that data to trigger relevant videos to specific scenes. 

CODON was also put in charge of the music and sound design of the piece which was handled beautifully by our own Siavash Amini. A unique blend of Ambient style and Ghajar music was created and performed by Siavash.
