3D Video Mapping on Markov building located in the heart of the historic Qasr prison's museum/ garden

When Tehran’s municipality came to CODON asking us to do a building projection mapping project, we got busy right away. After a couple of days of research and getting to know some of the historical buildings of Tehran, we decided on Markov mansion located in Qasr Garden Museum.


We then ran a few animation plots with the the municipality and reached one that contained some ideas related to the event concept-wise and some other ideas related to the building’s architecture.
The video projectors used in this project were Barco FLM- HD20. Their 20000 lumens brightness and reasonable contrast-ratio helped us to gain a good picture quality from a 30 meter distance.
